Interesting Sydney Attractions

It doesn’t matter if you’ve accidentally found yourself in Australia for a day or two because of your job, or you’ve come here on purpose for a good, relaxing vacation – you can always fill up every minute of your time doing all sorts of interesting and rewarding things, and exploring the nation’s many attractions and tourist locations. Sydney is a great place to visit by itself, as the number of Sydney attractions worth paying a visit to is truly staggering.

The Harbour Bridge is one of the more popular Sydney attractions, providing an incredible view over the harbor, as well as the whole city and the area around it. You can take a stroll along the entire bridge and snap some magnificent shots of the areas around it. However, it may take a while before you find a good spot to take those pictures from, as the bridge is one of the more populated Sydney attractions.

And while we’re on the topic of the local harbor, make sure you pay a visit to Darling Harbour, a place known for its serene and calming atmosphere, and a visual style that combines old and new ideas into a unique and interesting blend. There are some free tours of the area which can show you most of the things worth seeing, though it’s never a bad idea to just take a walk by yourself for an hour or two.

If you’re looking to top off an exhausting day with some relaxing time in a peaceful environment, the Chinese Garden of Friendship is all you need. Sydney has its own Chinatown, and this little garden contrasts quite heavily with the general atmosphere of this part of town – while Chinatown itself is noisy and full of people rushing about to their business, this is a place of total serenity and peace.
